报告简介:In this study, the combination of the method of fundamental solutions (MFS) and the particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed to deal with mathematical problems and engineering applications. The MFS is one of the most powerful boundary-type meshless methods. The numerical solution is expressed as a linear combination of fundamental solutions while the distributions of boundary nodes and sources are determined. Although the MFS can acquire extremely accurate solutions, the stability of numerical simulation and the accuracy of numerical solution highly depend on the optimal locations of sources. In the study, the PSO is adopted to choose the optimal locations of sources, so the extremely accurate solutions of MFS can be simply and efficiently obtained. The PSO is one of the newly-proposed metaheuristic optimization algorithms, so the optimal solutions can be efficiently acquired. In this presentation, the effectiveness of the combination of the MFS and the PSO will be verified by providing various mathematical problems. Furthermore, some engineering applications will be resolved by the proposed MFS-PSO to demonstrate the merits of the proposed method.
报告人简介:范佳铭教授1999 年本科毕业于台湾海洋大学河海工程学系,而后于2001年与2005年获得台湾大学土木工程学系硕士学位与博士学位。博士毕业后分别在台湾大学与美国南密西西比大学担任博士后研究,并于2008年任职于台湾海洋大学河海工程学系担任助理教授。范佳铭于2012年与2015年分别升等为副教授与教授,且在2019年获得特聘教授头衔。范佳铭教授曾担任过台湾海洋大学计算与模拟中心主任、河海工程学系副主任,目前担任台湾海洋大学河海工程学系主任的行政工作。范佳铭教授的学术专长为计算力学、无网格法与土木水利工程,共发表约120篇SCI期刊论文,目前担任Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements、Mathematics and Computers in Simulation、中国土木水利工程学刊等三个期刊的编委。
